Recycle Bin - Prohibited Items with Minister Approved Waste Stations in Ontario
The City of Hamilton offers recycling programs for a variety of items that cannot be disposed of through curbside garbage collection or BIZ Bins' roll-off waste bins. These recycling services are typically free, but non-recyclable items may be subject to a waste-disposal fee. Caustic and environmentally hazardous materials, including batteries, paints, non-rigid plastics, styrofoam, yard waste, furniture, and other items, can be recycled at these centres.
